The Danville Dans take out the Hannibal Cavemen with help from Simoneaux, 8-4

Chet Simoneaux went 2-4 and hit a home run as the Danville Dans (24-11) took home an 8-4 victory over the Hannibal Cavemen (15-20) in seven innings at Clemens Field on Sunday.

He homered in the first inning and singled in the seventh inning.

Miles Nordgren recorded his second win of the year for the Danville Dans. He allowed three runs over 2 1/3 innings. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered five hits.

Tyler Paule couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Hannibal Cavemen, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked two and struck out none.
