A six-run seventh inning sealed an 8-1 win for the Terre Haute Rex (19-12) over the Quincy Gems (19-10) on Wednesday at Quincy Stadium.

Izaak Silva racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Terre Haute Rex. He singled in the second inning and doubled in the seventh innings.

Kyle Zimmerman racked up eight strikeouts in the the Terre Haute Rex win. Zimmerman allowed one earned run on two hits and four walks over 5 2/3 innings.

Austin Klein ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
