The Richmond RiverRats (13-17) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 3-2 to the Butler Blue Sox (16-14) on Sunday.

The Butler Blue Sox took the lead in the seventh inning on an error.

Dylan Wolsonovich went a perfect 3-3 at the plate for the Butler Blue Sox. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the third and eighth innings.

Jon Anderson allowed two earned runs, four hits and two walks while striking out five over six innings of work.

Kent Williams was effective even in defeat, mowing down six the Butler Blue Sox batters and allowing one run.

Jason Revesz got the win, running his season record to 1-0. Revesz struck out none, walked none and gave up one hit.

Logan Tabor (2-1) took the loss for the Richmond RiverRats. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
