Andrew Buddle went 2-3, helping the Danville Dans (10-8) to a 6-5 victory over the Quincy Gems (12-6) on Wednesday at Danville Stadium.

Trey McNickle had an impressive outing against the Quincy Gems' lineup. The Quincy Gems managed just one hit off of McNickle, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his 2 1/3 innings of work.

Nick Roscetti was hot from the plate for the Quincy Gems. Roscetti went 2-3, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the fourth and sixth innings.

Austin Tribby was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked one, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
