After five lead changes in Sunday's game at Robin Roberts Field, the Quincy Gems (5-0) finally pulled out a 6-4 win over the Springfield Sliders (2-4).

Nick Roscetti got on base three times in the game for the Quincy Gems. He singled in the first and third innings.

The Springfield Sliders had no answer for Austin Tribby, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Springfield Sliders managed just two hits off of Tribby, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his 2 2/3 innings of work.

Dallas Ponder ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked four and struck out four.
