Clint Howell kept the Carolina Chaos (6-7) off the board during his 6 2/3 innings of work and the Statesville Owls (7-8) beat the Carolina Chaos, 7-0.

Howell allowed five hits, one walk and struck out four.

Ryan Smith racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Statesville Owls. He tripled in the sixth inning.

Nicklaus Street couldn't get it done on the hill for the Carolina Chaos, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in 5 2/3 innings, walked three and struck out four.
