Fred Shepard kept the Falmouth Commodores (15-12) off the board during his seven innings of work and the Wareham Gatemen (6-21) beat the Falmouth Commodores, 5-0.

Shepard struck out five and allowed two walks and six hits.

Kevin McCanna ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked four, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
