Ryan Still went 1-3 as the Traverse City Beach Bums (42-29) took home a 6-1 victory over the Southern Illinois Miners (39-32) at Wuerfel Park on Thursday.

Johnny Omahen picked up the win for the Traverse City Beach Bums. Omahen pitched six innings and allowed one earned run, four hits and three walks while striking out three.

The Traverse City Beach Bums had no answer for Michael Carden, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Traverse City Beach Bums managed just one hit off of Carden, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his three innings of work.

Blake Nation was charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked four and struck out two.
