Wednesday was a great day for Matt Zielinski, as Zielinski tossed eight scoreless innings to carry the Evansville Otters (28-28) to a 1-0 victory over the Traverse City Beach Bums at Bosse Field.

Johnny Omahen ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his sixth loss of the year. He lasted just seven innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed one run.
