A walk-off home run from Justin Erasmus brought home the winning run for the Joliet Slammers (22-29) in a 5-3 victory over the Rockford Aviators at Silver Cross Field on Sunday.

Nick Akins racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Joliet Slammers. He singled in the eighth inning.

Erasmus improved to 2-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Joliet Slammers. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Nick Cicio (1-4) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
