The Rockford Aviators (19-37) beat the Evansville Otters (28-28) 4-2 on Tuesday at Aviator Stadium behind Jeff Kremer, who went 4-4 at the plate.
He singled in the second, fifth, and sixth innings and doubled in the eighth inning.Seafth Howe had an impressive outing against the Evansville Otters' lineup. Howe gave up just three hits, allowed two earned runs, walked two and struck out five during his five innings of work.
A bright spot for the Evansville Otters in the defeat was Ryan Zamorsky, who allowed only two runs while striking out five.
Nathan OBryan got the win, running his season record to 1-1. OBryan struck out none, walked one and gave up one hit.
