The Evansville Otters (25-19) didn't stand a chance on Sunday, as the Southern Illinois Miners (26-20) captured a blowout 12-1 win at Rent One Park, Marion, IL.

The Southern Illinois Miners scored five runs in the sixth on a single by Tyler Hall, a single by Carlos Colmenares, a fielder's choice, a two-run single by Phil Butler, an RBI double by Cory Harrilchak, and a double by Harrilchak.

Harrilchak racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Southern Illinois Miners.

Blake Nation put together a nice outing. Nation gave up just three hits, allowed one earned run, walked two and struck out four during his six innings of work.

Matt Zielinski (5-2) took the loss for the Evansville Otters. He allowed eight runs in five innings, walked four and struck out four.
