Nick Kennedy was cold coming off the bench, but Kennedy warmed up quickly as Kennedy stroked a key pinch-hit single in the nine to lead the River City Rascals (4-2) to a 4-3 win over the Frontier Greys (3-3) on Thursday at T. R. Hughes Ballpark.

With the score tied at three in the ninth inning, Kennedy came to the plate and singled.

A walk-off single by Curran Redal gave the River City Rascals the win.

Justin Sarratt handled the Frontier Greys' lineup with ease, racking up seven strikeouts. Sarratt allowed two earned runs, five hits and three walks over eight innings.
