Josh Lowey kept the Lancaster Barnstormers (19-21) off the board during his six innings of work and the Somerset Patriots (26-11) beat the Lancaster Barnstormers, 9-1.

Lowey allowed one hit, three walks and struck out six.

The Somerset Patriots blew out the Lancaster Barnstormers thanks to 14 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Somerset Patriots scored four runs in the fifth on an RBI double by Jake Fox, an RBI double by Luis Montanez, an RBI single by Eddy Martinez-Esteve, and a fielder's choice.

Fox had two extra-base hits for the Somerset Patriots.

Will Savage couldn't get it done on the mound for the Lancaster Barnstormers, taking a loss. He allowed eight runs in four innings, walked none and struck out four.

Montanez, Fox, Corey Smith and Aharon Eggleston helped lead the Somerset Patriots. They combined for nine hits and five RBIs.
