The Lancaster Barnstormers (14-17) and the Somerset Patriots (20-9) traded the lead four times on Tuesday, but the Lancaster Barnstormers ended up on top with a 7-6 win over the Somerset Patriots.

The Lancaster Barnstormers were led by Kevin Howard's hitting. Howard went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the seventh inning and homered in the ninth inning.

Horacio Ramirez brought the heat against the Somerset Patriots during his outing. The Somerset Patriots managed just three hits off of the the Lancaster Barnstormers' pitcher, who allowed one earned run, walked none and struck out two during his five innings of work.

Ross Peeples recorded his first win of the year for the Lancaster Barnstormers. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered two hits.
