Bailey helps the Long Island Ducks down the Camden Riversharks 5-2

Story by Narrative Science.

Adam Bailey had two extra base hits as the Long Island Ducks (12-19) took home a 5-2 victory over the Camden Riversharks (9-22) at Campbells Field on Tuesday.

He homered in the second inning and doubled in the fourth inning.

Matt Way's six strikeouts were enough to push the Long Island Ducks past the Camden Riversharks. Way allowed one earned run, three hits and two walks over six innings.

It was a good day at the plate for the Camden Riversharks' Paddy Matera. Matera went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the fourth inning.

The Long Island Ducks couldn't get anything going as long as Jon Velasquez was pitching. Velasquez held the Long Island Ducks hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out one.

Ryan Kulik was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed five runs.

Danny Perales, Bailey and Bryant Nelson helped lead the Long Island Ducks. They combined for five hits and four RBIs.
