The York Revolution (6-5) built an early lead against the Bridgeport Bluefish (6-4), scoring three runs in the first inning, en route to a 9-7 win on Sunday at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard.

The York Revolution staved off the Bridgeport Bluefish as the Bridgeport Bluefish were unable to match the York Revolution down the stretch.

The Bridgeport Bluefish scored on an RBI single by Austin Krum, an RBI single by Krum, and a two-run home run by Prentice Redman in the seventh inning and a two-run single by Matt Spencer and an RBI single by Luis Lopez in the ninth inning. Still, the Bridgeport Bluefish couldn't draw even.

Jason Repko reached base three times in the game for the York Revolution. He scored two runs and had two RBIs. He homered in the ninth inning.

Yunior Novoa got the win, running his season record to 1-0. Novoa struck out one, walked two and gave up one hit.

Wardell Starling was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked two, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
