The Torrington Titans (20-26) built an early lead against the Pittsfield Suns (23-24), scoring five runs in the first inning, en route to a 7-2 win on Sunday at Fuessenich Park.

Casey Jones was hot from the plate for the Torrington Titans. Jones went 2-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the fourth and sixth innings.

Pat Austin recorded his fourth win of the year for the Torrington Titans. He allowed two runs over 5 2/3 innings. He struck out three, walked none and surrendered six hits.

Josh Martin couldn't get it done on the mound for the Pittsfield Suns, taking a loss. He allowed seven runs in six innings, walked four and struck out three.
