Brian Doran went 2-4 and hit a home run as the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide (20-22) took home a 5-1 victory over the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs (15-25) in seven innings at Doyle Field on Saturday.

The Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide relied on Ryan Otero to eat up innings en route to the win. Otero allowed one earned run, six hits and no walks while striking out five over seven innings of work.

Tyler McVicar had a hot bat for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs. McVicar went 2-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Michael Yerina (2-4) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 6 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed five runs.
