Phil Sciretta went 1-3 as the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide (18-22) took home a 1-0 victory over the Seacoast Mavericks (18-24) at Leary Field on Friday.

Enrique Sosa looked sharp on the mound. The Seacoast Mavericks managed just two hits off of Sosa, who allowed no earned runs, walked four and struck out five during his three innings of work.

Shane Beauchemin was effective even in defeat, mowing down six the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide batters and allowing one run.

Kyle Edwards improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide. He struck out three, walked one and surrendered three hits.

Beauchemin was charged with his second loss of the year.
