Both the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide (12-14) and the Seacoast Mavericks (11-18) put runners aboard on Thursday, but it was the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide that were able to take advantage, pulling out an 8-4 win at Leary Field.

Skip Flanagan racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the third inning.

Clay Ardeeser was hot from the plate for the Seacoast Mavericks. Ardeeser went 1-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the fifth inning.

Nick Whittaker got the win, running his season record to 4-0. He allowed three runs over five innings. He struck out three, walked none and surrendered seven hits.

Justin Thomas couldn't get it done on the bump for the Seacoast Mavericks, taking a loss. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked four, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
