A walk-off solo home run from Stephen Sauter brought home the winning run for the Nashua Silver Knights (28-15) in a 7-6 victory over the Torrington Titans in 12 innings at Holman Stadium on Sunday.
Sauter was hot from the plate for the Nashua Silver Knights. Sauter went 2-5, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the third inning and homered in the twelfth inning.
Geoff Fisher recorded his seventh win of the year for the Nashua Silver Knights. Fisher struck out none, walked none and gave up no hits.
Pedro Escarfullery (0-1) took the loss for the Torrington Titans (18-24). He lasted just zero innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
