The Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide (15-17) beat the Torrington Titans (13-18) 3-2 in eight innings on Wednesday at Fuessenich Park behind Aaron Wilson, who went 1-2.

Louis Distasio had an impressive outing against the Torrington Titans' lineup. Distasio held the Torrington Titans hitless over 2 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Nick Whittaker got the win, running his season record to 5-0. He allowed two runs over four innings. Whittaker struck out none, walked three and gave up four hits.

Mike Gibbons (2-3) took the loss for the Torrington Titans. He lasted just seven innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
