The Nashua Silver Knights (12-5) and the Pittsfield Suns (9-10) both threatened with rallies, but it was the Nashua Silver Knights that eventually took advantage of them in a 7-2 win at Holman Stadium.

Matthew Sanchez reached base three times in the game for the Nashua Silver Knights. He singled in the first and seventh innings.

Jake Mellin racked up four strikeouts in the the Nashua Silver Knights win. Mellin allowed no earned runs on four hits and one walk over five innings.

It was a good day at the plate for the Pittsfield Suns' Frank Crinella. Crinella went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the eighth inning.

Jon Luthe ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just three innings, walked five, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
