The Brockton Rox jump on the North Shore Navigators early and coast to 12-3 win

The Brockton Rox (3-5) jumped out to an early lead on the North Shore Navigators (6-1) and captured a 12-3 victory on Thursday at Fraser Field.

With eight runs in the first three innings, the Brockton Rox left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

An RBI single by Rob McCunney, a two-run single by Lorenzo Papa, and a sacrifice fly by Stephan Halibej during the second inning fueled the Brockton Rox's offense early.

Dave Pepe reached base five times in the game for the Brockton Rox. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He singled in the third and ninth innings.

Dylan Driscoll picked up the win for the Brockton Rox. Driscoll pitched six innings and allowed one earned run, six hits and no walks while striking out three.

Kyle Devin had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the third and sixth innings.

Mick Terzi couldn't get it done on the mound for the North Shore Navigators, taking a loss. He allowed eight runs in two innings, walked four and struck out none.

The Brockton Rox pounded the North Shore Navigators pitching, as six hitters combined for 12 hits, 11 RBIs and 10 runs scored.
