It took 10 innings, but the Gaithersburg Giants (26-18) managed to put away the Southern Maryland Nationals (22-20) 4-3 on Sunday at Regency Furniture Stadium.

Chris Kashangaki reached base four times in the game for the Gaithersburg Giants. He also drove in one runner. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the seventh inning.
Kyle Pitts was solid at the plate for the Southern Maryland Nationals. Pitts went 2-3 and scored one run. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the ninth inning.
Nick Riley improved to 4-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Gaithersburg Giants. Riley struck out two, walked one and gave up one hit.
Zack Wiseman (1-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked two, struck out none, and allowed no runs.
