Ian Rice collected three hits, helping the Baltimore Redbirds (20-13) to a 6-3 victory over the Gaithersburg Giants (20-13) on Sunday at Criswell Automotive Field.

Brandon Hinkle put together a nice outing. Hinkle held the Gaithersburg Giants hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

Carson Bryant got the win, running his season record to 2-0. He allowed one run over 2 2/3 innings. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered two hits.

Brandon Estrain was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 3 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
