Early lead not enough for the Saskatchewan, drop 7-2 decision to the Quebec

Story by Narrative Science.

The Saskatchewan (3-4) built an early edge on Sunday, but the Quebec (3-3) roared back to steal a 7-2 victory at Midget Parc Henri-Casault.

While the Saskatchewan led until the fifth inning, the Quebec worked their way back and took the lead on a two-run double by Patrick Joe Lanz Sepulveda.

Marc-Etienne Laniel got on base three times in the game for the Quebec. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He singled in the fifth and sixth innings.

The Saskatchewan's lineup had no answer for Frederick Fauteux. The Saskatchewan managed just one hit off of Fauteux, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his four innings of work.

Jared Libke (0-1) took the loss for the Saskatchewan. He allowed seven runs in five innings, walked five and struck out four.
