Michael Oczypok struck out seven batters to lift the North Shore Navigators (2-1) to a 4-1 win over the Torrington Titans (1-2) at Fraser Field.

The Torrington Titans jumped out to an early lead, but they were unable to hang on. The Torrington Titans were ahead until the fifth inning, but the North Shore Navigators would not be denied the win, taking the lead back on a fielder's choice.

Jordan Lozzi (0-1) took the loss for the Torrington Titans. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
