The North Shore Navigators (24-19) took the last of five lead changes in a back-and-forth affair against the Brockton Rox (22-21), securing a 5-4 victory on Monday at Campanelli Stadium.

Jake McGuiggan did his best to jumpstart the offense for the North Shore Navigators, reaching base two times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the fourth inning.

The Brockton Rox couldn't get anything going as long as Joseph Katin was on the mound. Katin held the Brockton Rox hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.

Brendan Doonan (2-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
