Tyler Adams hopes every outing could go as well as Saturday, as Adams struck out 12 batters to carry the Casa Grande Cotton Kings (2-2) to a 3-2 victory over the Topeka Golden Giants (1-2) at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium in 10 innings.

Steven Still helped the Casa Grande Cotton Kings pull ahead for the duration in the tenth inning. After Ashton McCoy tripled, Still hit a sacrifice fly, plating McCoy.

McCoy was hot from the plate for the Casa Grande Cotton Kings. McCoy went 4-5, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the first, third, and fifth innings and tripled in the tenth inning.
