The Omaha Strike Zone (0-1) didn't have a chance on Saturday, as the Liberal Bee Jays (1-0) won in blowout fashion, 7-1 at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium.

The Liberal Bee Jays scored two runs in the seventh on a double by Johnathan Sigado and an RBI double by Sigado.

Sigado was hot from the plate for the Liberal Bee Jays. Sigado went 2-4, drove in one and scored two runs.

Chad Nack picked up the win for the Liberal Bee Jays. Nack allowed one earned run, four hits and three walks while striking out four over seven innings of work.

John Sorenson (0-1) took the loss for the Omaha Strike Zone. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
