Drew VanOrden kept the Peninsula Oilers (16-11) off the board during his seven innings of work and the Anchorage Glacier Pilots (17-9) beat the Peninsula Oilers, 4-0.

VanOrden struck out five and allowed four walks and three hits.

Kevin Swick had two extra-base hits for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots. He doubled in the fourth and sixth innings.

A bright spot for the Peninsula Oilers in the defeat was Jon Maciel, who allowed only two runs while striking out eight.

Maciel couldn't get it done on the mound for the Peninsula Oilers, taking a loss.
