Michael Oczypok threw a shutout to lift the Will County CrackerJacks (22-11) to a 4-0 win over the DeKalb County Liners (20-13) at Brennan Field in seven innings.

The Will County CrackerJacks' Oczypok kept the DeKalb County Liners off the scoreboard for all seven innings he was on the hill. He pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on four hits while ringing up nine.

Derek Brown racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Will County CrackerJacks. He homered in the sixth inning.

Zach Strecker was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
