Nick Addison hit two home runs to carry the Eau Claire Express (12-26) to an 8-6 win over the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters (18-20) at Witter Field.

Addison racked up six RBIs on four hits for the Eau Claire Express. He singled in the second and seventh innings and homered in the fourth and ninth innings.

The Eau Claire Express staved off the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters as the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters were unable to match the Eau Claire Express down the stretch.

The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters scored three runs in the ninth on an RBI single by Pat Kelly and 2s. Still, the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters couldn't draw even.

Sean Godfrey racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters. He homered in the first inning and singled in the seventh inning.

Sean Renzi recorded his second win for the Eau Claire Express even though he allowed six runs over eight innings. Renzi struck out five, walked 10 and gave up seven hits.

Shane Adler (0-1) took the loss for the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
