The Lorain County Ironmen (6-13) built an early edge on Wednesday, but the Butler Blue Sox (12-8) roared back to steal a 2-1 victory at The Pipe Yard.

A two-run single by Neal Jacobs gave the Butler Blue Sox the lead in the seventh inning.

Chris Marangon got the win for the Butler Blue Sox thanks to seven strikeouts. Marangon allowed one earned run, six hits and one walk over six innings.

Adam Beach ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out seven, and allowed two runs.
