A six-run explosion in the second inning hoisted the Douglasville Bulls (7-1) to a 9-0 win over the OTC Bearcats (2-6) at Douglas County on Wednesday.

Ryan Roberts reached base three times in the game for the Douglasville Bulls. He scored one run and had one RBI. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the third innings.

Jeremy Holcomb struck out 10 hitters en route to the the Douglasville Bulls win. The Douglasville Bulls' pitcher tossed five innings of shutout ball and allowed only four hits.

Despite the loss, the OTC Bearcats' RICKY MCMICHAEL dominated the Douglasville Bulls' batters, giving up three runs and striking out eight.

MATTHEW SEEDORF (1-2) took the loss for the OTC Bearcats. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked three and struck out two.
