Michael hit .241 in 46 games at Hawaii after transferring from Mt. Hood CC, with no homers and 23 RBIs. He was 0-0, 3.24 in 10 appearances as a situational reliever.
Michael was nominated for WAC Player of the Week for March 21-27 but did not win. He went 6-for-19 (.316), with a triple, two doubles, two runs and four RBIs in five games.
Michael transferred to Hawaii after playing at Mt. Hood CC. He was a First-Team WCL All-Star in 2010, when he hit .344 for the Knights, with a homer and 19 RBIs. He was also 0-0 with a 4.50 as a pitcher.
Michael was a First-Team NWAACC Southern Region All-Star in 2010. He graduated from Heritage High School in Vancouver, Wash.
