The Schaumburg Boomers announced the signing of infielder/outfielder Connor Walsh August 17. 


Walsh, 22, will make his professional debut with the Boomers after spending his collegiate career with the Citadel Bulldogs of the Southern Conference. 


As a pitcher, first baseman, and outfielder, the 6'3", 185 pound lefty appeared in 88 career games at the dish with 19 appearances on the mound to his credit. His senior season, Walsh recorded a .341 average with nine home runs and 60 RBIs in 58 games.
