Beach Bums Career
Corey returns to the Beach Bums after making his pro debut late in the 2014 season. He made his first appearance Aug. 2 at Florence and threw two scoreless innings. Over the final month of the season he appeared in eight games, over powering batters with 18 strikeouts over 16.1 innings pitched. He finished 0-0 with a 3.86 ERA.

Previous Experience
Corey pitched collegiately at Siena Heights (MI) University in 2012 and was the ace of the team's staff. He led the Saints in wins (eight), ERA (1.96), complete games (seven), innings pitched (105.2) and strikeouts (65) during his senior season. Corey was also awarded a Gold Glove his senior year with a 1.000 fielding percentage in addition to allowing just seven stolen bases all season.

Over his entire four years at Siena Heights he had an 18-14 record, 3.86 ERA. He finished his career third on the school's career wins list, fourth in strikeouts and fourth in ERA.

Corey graduated from Siena Heights in 2012 with a degree in Sport Management. Son of Steve and Carol Alexander.
