A graduate of Bishop Hendricken High School, Ethan Ferreira is a member of the Harvard Crimson baseball team.  As their starting catcher, Ferreira’s ability to handle the pitching staff and provide offense was important to the team.  Despite the team’s struggles, Ferreira was third on the team in extra base hits.  He will be a great influence for the Waves this summer.As a freshman at Harvard, Ferreira started several games, which contributed towards his leadership abilities.In high school, Ferreira was a three-year letter winner in football and baseball at Bishop Hendricken.  He captained both teams as a senior and was twice a member of the all-state teams in each sport.  Academics and community involvement are a strong suit for the catcher as he is a member of the National Honor Society and a volunteer at the Salvation Army Soup Kitchen.
