Kasarjian played well when healthy but spent multiple stints on the Disabled List in 2011. In 37 games he hit .263 and drew as many walks as he had strike outs. Notably seven of his 26 hits were doubles. He was taken in the 13th round as the 393rd overall pick by the Seattle Mariners in the 2004 MLB draft out of Westlake High School. Kasarjian decided to attend Los Angeles Pierce JC where he hit .344 for Head Coach Bob Lofrano as a freshman. He transferred to UCLA, played there in 2005 before transferring to CAL State Northridge. Suffered injuries that cost him two seasons of baseball. He reemerged with Oakland County of the Frontier League in 2010.
