Buddie Pindel is in his second year with the ThunderBolts and fourth as a pro in 2025. He was acquired in a trade with the Boise Hawks in exchange for Micah Yonamine on November 8, 2023. In his first year with the ThunderBolts, Buddie set a franchise record with a 2.00 ERA over 121.2 innings. He finished the season with a 9-7 record. In his first two professional seasons with Boise, he went 7-9 with a 6.17 ERA. He had 121 strikeouts to just 33 walks in 121 innings.

Pindel attended the University of Hawaii and played for three years as a Rainbow Warrior, winning seven games with a cumulative 3.87 ERA over 38 games (six starts). He also saved five games overall. Prior to Hawaii, he pitched for two years at the College of Southern Nevada, posting a 2.68 total ERA with 95 strikeouts in 84 innings. He attended Silverado High School in Las Vegas, Nevada.
