Another of the four FSW Buccaneers on this year’s roster, Skeen will look to build on a pair of very strong collegiate seasons this summer with

the Bats. He featured big stuff in his first 40 relief appearances (5-2, 2.44 career ERA, 1 save, 1.93 ERA in 2022) with Florida SouthWestern

over the past two years, whiffing 82 in 55.1 frames including 29 in his initial 18.2 innings this year. Skeen stayed in-state to join the NJCAA

Buccaneers after a prep career at Pompano Beach High School where he was a four-year All-District performer and hit .474 at the plate as a

senior while compiling a 2.50 ERA. Skeen pitched for the Winchester Royals of the Valley Baseball League last summer, recording a 3.24 ERA

and 23 whiffs in 16.2 frames. He was also once a travel ball teammate of former Oakland Athletic and current Miami Marlin Jesus Luzardo.
