Played in 23 games for the Walla Walla Sweets of the West Coast Collegiate League...batted .288 with two home runs, one triple, two doubles, 10 RBI, 11 runs and 17 walks...was one of two players to belt two or more home runs and finished the summer with a .429 on-base percentage...also made two pitching appearances, including one start, surrendering 10 runs (nine earned) in four innings...Walla Walla went 18-30 overall, finishing fourth in the East Division of the West Coast Collegiate League.
