Sean LeLand is in his first year with the ThunderBolts and first as a professional in 2019. He signed with the Bolts on June 24, 2019. In his senior year of college, he went 6-3 with a 3.72 ERA over 30 games for the University of Illinois. That wrapped up a four year collegiate career that saw him win 11 games and accumulate a 3.65 ERA in 69 appearances (four starts) with 108 strikeouts in 112.2 innings. Sean spent his first two seasons at the University of Louisville and enjoyed his most success as a freshman, when he went 4-0 with a 2.05 ERA and was named a Freshman All-American. He attended Sandburg High School in Orland Park, Illinois.
