PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
Brooks Belter was drafted in the 25th round of the 2011 MLB Draft by the Tampa Bay Rays and was assigned to the Hudson Valley Renegades of the New York-Penn League. In 15 appearances including one start, he earned a 3-2 record with a 3.58 ERA. As a Renegade he struck out 29 batters and accumulated an 8.0 SO/9IP in his rookie debut.

A graduate of Occidental College, Belter spent four years building an impressive collegiate resume on the mound. In his senior season he was 1-3 and led the team with a 1.45 ERA. In 19 appearances, Belter racked up five saves and held opponents to a .183 average against for the Tigers.
