Pulley enters his fourth season with the Beach Bums in 2013 and his fourth season as a professional coach overall. He also has an extensive resume as a player and instructor.
Pulley was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles as a third baseman in the 12th round of the 2003 MLB Draft out of Woodland High School in California. He spent five seasons in the Orioles system from 2003-2007 and was converted into a part-time catcher along the way. Pulley did not play in 2008, but returned to action in the Frontier League with the Evansville Otters in 2009. He has been also been a hitting, catching, and infield instructor at Roundtrippers Baseball Academy for the past five years. Pulley lives in Noblesville, IN with his wife, Kelly and daughter, Charlieanne, who was born in November, 2011.
