A Benet Academy graduate and a 2010 All American, he finished his senior season 9-0 with a 1.52 ERA. Those nine wins were tied for the most ever in one year by a Webster University pitcher. The 1.52 ERA and 72 strikeouts were both second best for a single year in program history. Savage's 16 career victories, 3.23 ERA, and 151 K's were all third best ever at Webster University.
