UMass Lowell product Gerry Siracusa will take his talents up the eastern seaboard to southern Maine and suit up for the Mainers this season.  The only player on the roster who features as both a pitcher and position player, the River Hawk freshman has made an impact both on the mound and at the plate in his first college season.  As a right-handed reliever, Siracusa made 17 appearances, including one start, compiling a 4.63 ERA with a 1-3 record and 10 strikeouts in 23.1 innings pitched.  He recorded his first collegiate win against Albany on April 7th.

 Although he primarily focused on pitching, Siracusa has been effective when asked to hit. He has two hits in five tries, including an RBI double against Rhode Island in just his second at bat of his collegiate career.
